Subject: "Delete my Spill Sisters account"
Include your system-issued alias if you know it. Do not send your password, verification code, Google password, or password-reset link. We may ask for reasonable information to confirm that the account belongs to you before acting.
What is removed or scrubbed
Deletion removes, scrubs, or disconnects:
- Your account email, password material, verification status, and login sessions
- Your alias, internal profile handle, bio, and avatar selection
- Your Case File text, titles, questions, tags, and related public content
- Your Sister Takes and the text of messages you sent
- Your post and comment likes, story reactions, saves, follows, and blocks
- Your uploaded images and GIF media stored by Spill Sisters
- Active verification and password-reset records
Counts on other people's content may be adjusted when your reactions, likes, saves, or comments are removed.
What limited information may remain
Spill Sisters keeps a non-personal tombstone, an internal ID, the deletion time, and empty or scrubbed records, where needed to keep database relationships intact without exposing another member's information.
Reports, warnings, bans, and moderator actions may be retained only as reasonably needed to protect users, prevent repeat abuse, resolve disputes, or comply with law, as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleted-account references in those records are reduced to internal tombstone identifiers where practicable.
Some nonpublic structured activity records, such as moderation history and, depending on the feature, room membership, poll, notification, message-reaction, GIF-reference, or message-request records, may remain connected only to an internal deleted-account identifier when needed for safety, continuity for other participants, database integrity, or legal obligations. Spill Sisters should not retain those records longer than their stated purpose requires.
We try to delete stored media immediately. If a storage deletion fails, an automated cleanup process begins retrying it after 30 days and continues until the underlying file is removed. Backups and provider systems may take additional time to cycle out deleted information.
Spill Sisters cannot delete copies, quotes, or screenshots that another person made outside the Service. Deleting Spill Sisters also does not delete a Google account or information controlled independently by Google, Cloudflare, Resend, GIPHY, Tenor, or another user.
Messages and conversations
The text of messages you sent is cleared when your account is deleted. Conversation records belonging to other participants may retain an empty "Deleted Account" reference, and certain non-text message metadata or GIF references may remain until the conversation is fully deleted, where needed to preserve their account history safely.
Separately, when every participant deletes a conversation, the conversation, messages, reactions, and membership records are permanently removed after 30 days. A disappearing-message setting may remove message content earlier.
